Spread The Word Ministries Home Mission Statement |

God has given the Church a "Great Commission" to proclaim the "Good News" to all nations so there might be a multitude from every nation, tribe, and language group who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. As 21st century ambassadors of Christ, the Church should strive to use all available means (including the Internet) to reach and disciple the nations (Mark 15:16; Matt. 28:19, 20; Acts 1:8). Because we, the Church, is called to relate to the world in which we live, we must understand the culture and society of our times and do all we can to influence that culture for Christ. Today, a new and far reaching media has come into existence which must be deliberately utilized by the Church if she is going to be "salt and light" to the online world. It has been said, "the global web of interconnected computers known as the Internet is the "Roman Road" of our day, connecting the body of Christ with the rest of the world in ways never before possible." Believing this to be true, it would be to our shame if the Church did not embrace this media and positively influence it for Jesus Christ! In accordance with this Great Commission, the joyful undertaking of Spread-the-Word Ministries is to "Inspire Hearts and Minds for Jesus Christ" and to take an active part in extending the Good News of salvation to a world separated from God through willful disobedience and unbelief. Because God's Holy Spirit remains active in bringing people to himself, this undertaking is entered upon in the firm expectation that many men and women around the world will commit their lives to Jesus Christ and experience the joy of knowing God and His many blessings. Special Note Spread-The-Word Ministries does not solicit or accept donations of any kind. However, your prayers are always welcomed and appreciated! In accordance with Jesus' teaching in Matt.22:15-21, this ministry has purposely not claimed tax-exempt status, choosing to reserve the right to speak in clear, unambiguous biblical terms to any topic facing the church or society today (religious, moral, political, sociological, etc.). The Great Commission... The Great Commandment... Matthew 22:15-21
