The 11th century Cistercian monk and mystic, Bernard of Clarvaux once wrote that, “Spiritual reading is the oil of the lamp of prayer.” Spiritual reading and quietude of this kind will undoubtedly kindle the spirit of prayer which is ever the foundation of committed Christian thinking and living. Since 1984 I've written several seasonal and biblical meditations. These are just a few, but as work on this site progresses I plan to add more to this page.
